"We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely old building with great garden in a pleasant residential area some 4 km from the center. Large room. Some features do need an update. However great value and peaceful. The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly."

"Good but could be better. We stayed here for our first night in SL. The bed was good but the room not perfectly clean. The breakfast is superb and we even skipped our lunch after that. Only negative point is that the price is maybe a little bit too high compared with some other places. But I would recommend the place."

"In the process of improvement. We stayed for a total of four nights in March of 2014. Our experience was mixed. You stay in an aged Colombo house with resident children, a dog, huge garden and frequent live piano music. It is hard not to sit on either of the two open area porches and imagine how the house could be renovated to former glory."

"Quiet and clean, but basic. This guesthouse is well located, in a quiet area. The house is charming, colonial ambiance, nice garden, and our room was large and clean. Breakfast was good. But the room was also basic and quite dark and depressing."

"Could be better. We arrived around 4 am thanks to a delayed flight. Although the room was clean, it was very dingy and depressing. The breakfast, on other days, was also pretty poor. We could never find any staff around to ask questions."
